The Talgasse 12 is a corner-house on Vienna´ s biggest shopping street, the Mariahilfer Strasse. Only 300m (330 yards) from the Westbahnhof (west train station) in a quite side street in the 15th district.

The outer Mariahilfer Strasse was once the avenue to the castle of Schoenbrunn. The Austrian-Hungarian emperor and empress and their royal court were coached from their winter residence in the Hofburg direct to the summer residence of Schoenbrunn.

This is an old Viennese street, with avenue character, flanked by typical Viennese buildings from the beginning of the 20th century.
